On match days, the World Cup tickets are also valid as day passes for the public transport of the according World Cup host city.
Travelling with the ÖPNV (Public metropolitan passenger transport), however, not only saves money, but also a lot of time in most of the match venues. For instance in Munich, where six World Cup matches are held, persons travelling to the stadium on World Cup match days in their car will have to calculate with substantial waiting times.
