FIFA World Cup tickets valid for public transport

Tickets for the 64 matches of the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ are not only very sought-after, but useful as well. Next to gaining admission to the stadiums, ticket owners will be able to enjoy further benefits. On match days, the World Cup tickets are also valid as day passes for the public transport of the according World Cup host city.
Travelling with the ÖPNV (Public metropolitan passenger transport), however, not only saves money, but also a lot of time in most of the match venues. For instance in Munich, where six World Cup matches are held, persons travelling to the stadium on World Cup match days in their car will have to calculate with substantial waiting times.

Getting to the stadiums by using public transport not only shortens the waiting time but also contributes to the group experience of enjoying the World Cup with other fans and visitors.

On a match day, the respective World Cup ticket can be used in trains and busses all day long. In other words, fans will have the opportunity to explore the cities they visit by using this ticket for more than just the trip to the stadium.

The regulations for World Cup tickets apply to all World Cup cities of the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ and, naturally, also for all VIP, honorary, as well as free tickets.
